CompTIA is currently developing a printing and document imaging certification to validate a technician’s knowledge and skills of printers (inkjet, laser, dot matrix, thermal and solid ink), LED, multi-function products (MFPs), scanners, fax machines, copiers, digital, networking, connectivity and color theory. General availability for this certification is targeted for first quarter, 2008.
