Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT)

Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCTs) are the premier technical and instructional experts in Microsoft products, technologies, and solutions. To ensure a superior learning experience for our customers, MCTs are the only individuals that Microsoft authorizes to deliver training that is based on Official Microsoft Learning Products or Microsoft Dynamics Learning Products for the MCT program.

MCT Certification Requirements

The Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) Program is an annual renewal program. Each year in April, you are required to complete an online application, pay an annual fee, and meet a number of program requirements to renew your certification for the coming year. As a member of the exclusive MCT Program, you will be granted access to valuable program benefits.

To become a MCT, you will need to follow these 4 steps :

1. Acquire a valid Microsoft Certification
2. Demonstrate instructional presentation skills
3. Complete the MCT Application
4. Welcome to the MCT Program

 

Full Program Requirements to maintain your MCT Certification.

For the MCT 2007 program year (from April 1, 2007 through March 31, 2008), MCTs are required to:

• Meet technical competency requirements for each course that they are authorized to teach
• Administer course evaluations to every student and maintain high customer satisfaction scores
• New MCTs must deliver at least one Microsoft course within the first year as an MCT
